Alma Patricia Bamaca, affectionately known as Patty, passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 52. Born on September 27, 1971, Patti's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, dedication, and a distinctive flair that was uniquely hers.

Patty was a beacon of strength and love for her family, especially her four beloved children. Her love for them knew no bounds, as she faced her deepest fears head-on — from the thrilling heights of rollercoasters to the vast skies aboard airplanes — just to be with them and see them smile. She made countless sacrifices to ensure they had everything they needed, embodying the role of a devoted mother with every fiber of her being.

Her smile, bright and beautiful, could illuminate the darkest of rooms. Patty embraced life with a zest that was contagious, often reflected in her choice of vivid clothing and jewelry. She was unapologetically herself, taking selfies to share her colorful world with her Facebook family. Resolute and fearless, Patty lived life on her own terms, a testament to her strong will and spirited nature.

We will miss seeing her eyes widen and her start touching her throat whenever we mentioned any food that she loved. We will miss her cleaning the house while she listened to KROQ. We will miss her getting upset because we changed plans on her. We will miss her stories of how someone upset her at work. We will miss her telling us chisme about other family members. We will miss seeing her play with her kids at home, at the park, and at the beach. We will miss her just being here with us.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her children, Stephanie Paz, Charlie, Benjamin, and Miguel Gallegos; her parents, Virginia and Miguel Bamaca; her siblings, Claudia, Lillian, Mayra, Miguel, and Sergio; and numerous friends and relatives who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Patty's life was a testament to the power of love, the beauty of living authentically, and the importance of family. Though she may have left this world, her spirit and legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
