Amadita "Rosie" Ramirez, age 76, passed away on October 28, 2024. Born on December 5, 1947, in Monrovia, California, Rosie was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose generous heart and unwavering kindness left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.
A lifelong resident of Ventura County, Rosie dedicated her career to serving and uplifting those around her. Her Career in the community touched countless lives, and she was honored multiple times by Ventura County for her contributions. Her legacy of service is one her family, friends, and community will remember for years to come.
Family was at the center of Rosie's life, and she is survived by her two children, Darlene Garcia and Richard Ramirez Jr., who she adored deeply. Rosie was also the proud grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of seven, with each new generation only bringing her more joy. She was known for creating magic in every celebration, filling every gathering with hospitality, laughter, and love. She welcomed everyone with open arms, without a hint of judgment, embodying a spirit of acceptance that drew people close.
Rosie's love for oldies music provided the soundtrack to countless family memories, as she sang, danced, and shared her wonderful sense of humor. She was the true heart of her family, and her presence brought light to every room.
Now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Richie Ramirez, the love of her life, Rosie leaves behind a legacy of love. Her family will miss her deeply, as will all who were blessed to know her.
All family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Rosie's life on November 23rd, 2024, Services at The Church of Angels in Santa Paula will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the burial at Pierce Brother Santa Paula Cemetery at 12 pm. Reception where we will gather to share memories, laughter, and love in honor of the remarkable woman she was, will follow immediately after.
