Antonina Maria Ibarra, known to friends and family as Nina, celebrated her 46th birthday the day before she passed away on August 23, 2025.   While at home she experienced an unexpected airway obstruction and Nina was called to heaven. Nina was born on August 22, 1979, in Ventura, California, to Henry and Katy Porras. She graduated from Fillmore High School and went on to complete nursing school at Ventura College to become a very compassionate RN.  She loved music and finding solace from reading the Bible every day.  Nina liked to garden, going camping with family, and she especially loved traveling to Big Bear where she hoped to retire. It's where a portion of her ashes are to be spread. Antonina is survived by her husband Robert, and her two daughters Abigail and Grace (Ivan Puga, husband) and her parents Henry and Katy, Antonina is in heaven with her young sister Rosanna Porras.  We know two loving sisters are safe in the arms of Jesus watching over us and their angelic loving presence will always be part of our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 26th, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Life Point Church, 1057 1st Street, Fillmore, California.  Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor Antonina's life.  Following the church ceremony her burial will be at the Bardsdale Cemetery, followed by a reception. There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are with so many friends and family members who have comforted us.  Also, a heartfelt thank you to the Fillmore EMT and firefighters for doing everything they could.
