Aracely de Los Angeles Quezada, beloved daughter of the Most High, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 27, 2025.

Born on August 6, 1957, in Progresso, Yucatán, Aracely lived a life marked by faith, joy, and unwavering kindness. She now rests in eternal peace and wholeness with God, whose example she faithfully followed.

Aracely's life was a radiant example of devotion to the Lord, a big believer in biblical good works. She loved God with all her heart and lived by His Word in how she treated those around her. Her children and grandchildren remember her not only for her words but for her actions: joy, patience, compassion, prayer, and an unshakable light that could not be dimmed, even in hardship. Her legacy of kindness is one her family will carry forward for generations, choosing to love those around them as she so faithfully did.

Aracely deeply loved her girls, Nati, Chela, and Alex. They will forever cherish Aracely's smile and light spirit. Nothing ever seemed to bother her, and no problem was ever too big for her. Always attentive with a listening ear, she reassured them with her soothing voice and simple advice. Their favorite memories of mom were the trips they took together and how happy and intrigued she was to explore and adventure. Aracely loved friends and family in a big way and felt that everyone should be celebrated. If someone was celebrating a life event, Aracely was sure to be there with a bright smile and a gift in hand. Aracely had a heart of gold. Even when she had little to give, she gave her heart and made you feel like you were walking away with gold. That was mom.

For more than 20 years, Aracely worked with Head Start, caring for children and supporting families with grace and dedication. Her role was never just a job; it was an extension of her calling as a lifelong caretaker. She formed lasting bonds with students, parents, and colleagues, relationships that carried through her entire life. She later cared for her mother, Carmen, with the same devotion she gave to her children and grandchildren.

Aracely is survived by her daughters, Natividad Magaña, Aracely Medina, and Alejandra Medina, and by her treasured grandchildren, Jonah Gabriel, Josiah Michael, and Jordyn Trinity. She leaves behind countless friends, family members, and colleagues who were blessed by her presence. She is preceded in death by her beloved dad, Juan Pablo.

While we mourn her passing, we also rejoice, knowing she is in the presence of the Almighty Lord. A devoted Catholic, Aracely embodied the love of Christ in every interaction. Her faith was the anchor of her life. She loved without hesitation and gave without limit. She leaves a legacy that points others to a relationship with Jesus, the source of her joy, peace, and kindness. She is not gone but alive in fullness with the Lord, and her legacy will live on through generations of her family who will continue to love sacrificially and serve faithfully. Our prayer is that you too would choose joy, prayer before anger, and point others to a relationship with the Almighty.

A psalm of David

The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
