Chris was born in Savannah, Ga, as the youngest child from the union of Rubin L. Bryant, Sr. and Cynthia T. Smith. As an infant, Chris, his mother and brother, Rubin relocated to Oxnard, California. There, Chris attended the Oxnard Union Public and High School District from elementary at Rose Avenue & Marina West, later to attend Fremont Junior High, then Oxnard & Hueneme High Schools. Chris was a Runner and ran various meters for the Oxnard Stars Track Team during his younger years. After a few years in high school, Chris moved, deciding to stay with their father to Everett, Washington, where he attended Everett High School and received his High School Diploma in 1995.

Chris attempted to matriculate in various areas to expand from Cosmetology, joining the Job Corp to Culinary and many other endeavors in between. Chris was a very intelligent, loving, and cunning individual; wise beyond their years, however the eccentric personality and creative style allowed Chris to move around enjoying Life to its Fullest Following Destiny as It would have it! As a youngster, Chris and older brother Rubin, under the direction of their mother guided them to be Baptized under the membership of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, the late Rev. Warren Gaston, Oxnard, Ca., where Chris was very active in youth activities and choir. Chris loved to dance, but especially sing, which under the discovery of his Aunt Debra (Debi) Young (who predeceased him in 2011) enhanced his capabilities as he began to lead songs such as one of his favorites "I Surrender All". Because Chris had a Love for cooking, his desire was to start the Maxine Waters School of Culinary in March 2024, Chris loved Acting and exploring, yet more so Loved People. In Chris's later adult life, He, living her life as She/They felt compelled to take all of the experiences, pain of the hard knock streets to help others within the LGBTQIA Community in Hollywood and beyond. Chris had volunteered for Organizations, such as The Unique Woman's Coalition and help advocate for the voiceless specifically in the Black Trans Culture. Even with all of Chris's selfless contributions, the one that impacted so many lives including Chris's, was making the self -inspired, independent film, TRADE. Produced by older Brother Rubin and longtime friend, bus partner, Director Trae Briers. Trade, inspired by Chris's story, has won multiple awards, such as IMDB Certified Dumbo Film Fest, Toronto Independent Film Fest of Cift, Chicago Indie Awards and the Academy Award recognized Pan African Film Festival to name a few.

Affectionately, Chris had a very special Love for his niece, Tatianna "T.T." Bryant, and wanted to do whatever necessary to see her Smile:-); Chris Loved All those who entered His Circle of Life and those whose lives were impacted by His Touch, will be lasting Forever.

Chris Life was Destined by God's Blessings and Grace with thoughts of some sadness, suffering and pain, yet when God took a Recent look and began to Adjust the Dial, He knew that to Be Absent from the Body, was for Chris to be Present with Him, Safe in His Loving Arms.

The Beauty of Chris Life is, while we cannot undo what is Done, we can See It, Understand It, Learn from It and Even Attempt to Change It, But Every New Moment is Spent, Not in Regrets, Guilt, Fears or Anger, But in Knowledge, Understanding and Ultimate Love of Life!

Chris is predeceased in Death by both his Maternal & Paternal Grandparents, stepfather, Jimmie L. Smith, Sr., Uncles & Aunts on his paternal side, and Aunt Deborah Young & special Grandparents Cleo & Zepher Cannon. Chris will be sadly missed by his Loving Mother, Cynthia T. Smith and her fiancé' (Johnnie "Mr. Sandy Walker"), Father, Rubin L. Bryant, Sr., brothers, Rubin L. Bryant, Jr. & Nicholas Bryant, niece, Tatianna "T.T." Bryant, and a host of other family members, including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends and the Los Angeles CA Community of Family/Friends and so many others who Loved & Cherished Chris.

As Chris transitioned from this earthly vessel to his Heavenly Home of No Mores, the 48th Chapter of Life ended, exited and began Anew...Good, Bad, or Indifferent, the Race, which was sometimes so difficult for Chris to Run, have been Finished with the Torched Raised High and Chris have broken the Rope to Completion.

"The Hardest Good-byes are the ones you Don't see coming, the ones you Don't Plan, or Could Never Imagine Happening." The Race isn't given to the Swift, Nor the Strong, but to the One Who Can Last to the End. 'Sleep on My Sweetie and Get Your Rest, You Came, You Saw and You Delivered, We're Better Together, than we Are Alone, Now You Can See through the Glass Clearly, You See Him Face to Face!!
