Christopher Lopez was born on July 23, 1944 in Santa Paula and passed away on April 14, 2024 in Ventura. He graduated from Santa Paula High School in 1962, he enjoyed being around family and friends. He served with the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967 with the HQ Company USATC Fort Jackson, SC.

He was a proud member of the Santa Paula Veterans Association.

Chris enjoyed helping others, providing transportation to and from appointments, picking up their medications, delivering food to those in need and many other acts of kindness.

Chris was proceeded in death by his only Daughter Melissa and two Brothers, Gilbert Lopez and Gary Nava. He is survived by two grandchildren, Zoie and Jonathan, who reside in Boise, ID.

He is also survived by his Brothers Jerry Olivas (Margarete), Michael Nava and Stephen Mejia.
