Connie Ruth Alvidres, born as, Consuelo Ruth Lopez, 83, of Santa Paula, passed away the evening of December 19 following a long time illness at the St John's Sub-acute Hospital in Camarillo, CA. Connie was born on March 26, 1941 to Johnny Lopez and Mary Barajas in Santa Paula, CA. She graduated from Santa Paula Union High School in 1960. In 1965 she married Frank Alvidres Jr in Santa Paula, CA where they had four children Marisa Allen, Danielle SanPedro, Angelica Alvidres, and Francisco Alvidres. In 2008 she retired from Barabara Webster Elementary school where she was a teacher aide for over 25 years.

Connie enjoyed sewing, making blankets, music, dancing and being with her family especially her grandchildren. Connie was predeceased by her mother and father and her brother Richard Lopez. She is survived by her husband Frank Alvidres Jr, her children Marisa Allen, Danielle SanPedro, Angelica Alvidres, Francisco Alvidres her sisters Nancy lopez and Irene Cabral as well as her grandchildren Hayden Allen, Makayla Allen, Nicholas SanPedro, Gabriella SanPedro, Ryder Alvidres, Madilynn Alvidres and Emersyn Alvidres.

Services will be held on Thursday January 9, schedule and location as follows: Visitation (viewing) 9am-11am Service 11am-12:30pm Ventura Seventh Day Adventist Church 6300 Telephone Rd Ventura, Ca 93003. Burial 1pm-2pm- Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery 380 Cemetery Rd Santa Paula Ca 93060. Reception 3- 6 pm Ventura SDA Church 6300 Telephone RD, Ventura, CA 93003
