Dalonda Nayon Moore was born on December 4th, 1970, to Glenn and Maryetta Moore in Ojai, California. She passed on January 7th, 2024, due to a rapid and unexpected decline in health; she was just 53 years old.

Dalonda grew up primarily in Oxnard, California where she graduated from Channel Islands High School in 1989. Throughout her life, she lived in a plethora of places to include Norfolk, Virginia, Atlanta, Georgia, and Las Vegas, Nevada; all of which hold individual significance to her life and legacy. Dalonda had a few different jobs over the years, eventually finding her niche in customer service; most notably working for Verizon Wireless for over a decade where she climbed the ranks to eventually get promoted to assistant regional manager. Most recently, she proudly worked for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield as an insurance representative.

From a young age, it was abundantly clear that Dalonda's passion was to take care of people and give back in whatever way she could. Regardless of how much or how little she had, Dalonda never hesitated to find a way to help someone in need. Anyone who knows her, knows this to be true.

There are two things that Dalonda loved more than anything else in this world, her children and the beach. Her life goal was to work hard enough to be able to retire in a beautiful beach house in Southern California. She always mentioned how she always felt the most at-home and peaceful near the beach so it's a guarantee that she happily has her toes in the sand, watching the waves crash in the afterlife.

Dalonda is survived by her sons, DeVon Nash and DeShawn Lilly, her granddaughter Ajah Nash, her daughter, Camae Watson, her mother, Maryetta Moore (née Haynes), her father, Glenn Moore and his wife Sherry, her sisters and brothers Jason Pietrie, Brian Smith, Iyare Ahanmisi, Immanuel Moore, Linda Moore, and Kennia Moore, her grandmothers, MattieMae Lockett and Dorothy Moore, and countless other friends and family members.
