Our loving son, David Noriega Espinoza, passed away on February 20, 2024. David was born on January 20,1988 in Santa Paula, California.

Silly, as he was known to many, was a resident of Santa Paula. He attended Santa Paula High School and Buena High School. David graduated from Santa Paula High School in 2006. After high school he attended Universal Technical Institute and graduated with a certificate in Automotive Technology Mechanic.

David had a personality that lit up the room. The minute he walked through the door the atmosphere would change. He had such a wonderful and quirky personality. You would  always find him cracking jokes. David loved like no other and he had the biggest heart. When you would see him he would greet you with a giant hug and a kiss.

He found his love for basketball at a young age along with dirt bike riding. He played for the youth recreation league and later went on to play travel basketball for the Red Storm. He continued his basketball career throughout high school. David loved the Los Angeles Lakers and was a huge Kobe Bryant fan. He enjoyed going on family vacations, especially dirt bike riding in Pismo Beach.

David entered the Plumbers and PipeFitters Union and began his working career. He worked in the union for many years. He also worked in construction for a few years.

His biggest accomplishment came when he became a father to his two beautiful children, Nathan and Suzie Espinoza. He loved his children so much. They were such a blessing to his life.

He is preceded in death by his father Armando Castro, grandmother Susie Noriega, grandfather Juan Espinoza, uncle Ruben Noriega, and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his parents Luis and Vivian Espinoza, sister Kimberly Espinoza, children Nathan and Suzie Espinoza, grandfather Florencio "Chencho" Noriega, grandmother Olivia Espinoza, grandmother Emily Castro, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
