Our beloved Delfina Salazar was born on October 24th, 1949 in Santa Paula, California and was called by our Lord and Savior on February 13th, 2025. She was born to Susan and Manuel Salazar and is survived by sons, Anthony Manuel Murillo and Daniel Richard Murillo; grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Angelina, Angel, Elyzhua, Nickolas, Josiah, Joshua, and Monika; great granddaughter Haven; sisters Annette Baca and Deborah Salazar and partner Scott McCoy. Delfina was undoubtedly one of a kind and was authentically herself for all 75 years of her life. Some knew her as the sweet and caring lunch lady at McKevett elementary school and others knew her to be the fun, loud, life of the party at every occasion. She oozed with confidence and love and if you had the pleasure to know her, you would want to be as cool as her. Her energy was infectious and her absence will be felt because of how big of a space she took up everywhere she went. Her time on Earth was not wasted because of the impact she had on our lives but her time in heaven is a beautiful reunion with her beloved family.
