Diana Eve (Howick) Cooper , a beloved mother and wife passed away peacefully on September 23rd, 2024 at age of 84. Born to Joan Edith (Smith) Howick and Peter Dagleish Howick August 27, 1940 in Exeter, England. Diana's mother and father served in the Royal Army during WWII and she stayed with her aunt and uncle, Eve and Joss Mansfield and her grandmother in Snitterfield near Stratford upon Avon. After WWII Diana's mother married Dennis Litchfield and they lived in West Bridgeford, a suburb of Nottingham. In 1963 Diana came to U.S. to work for her Aunt and Uncle, AnnaMie and Ron Smith in Ventura CA. She enjoyed the warmer weather in California. Diana met Ernie Cooper in the YMCA Ventura single adults club and they were married on July 21, 1966 in Santa Barbara. Diana cherished her family and friends, always enjoyed reading, playing cards and games, She enjoyed traveling, camping and would always loved going to the theater and concerts. She is survived by her husband Ernie of 58 years, Sons Michael (Michelle) of Tigard, OR and David (Alison) of Ventura, CA, two grandsons, Zachary and Andrew of Tigard, OR., granddaughter Logan of Ventura and sister Phyllis Lees of Nottingham, England.
