Dolores Ortega, 79, of Oxnard, passed peacefully on January 19th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 20th, 1946, in Sullivan City, Texas. She grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco. She worked as a housekeeper, seamstress, fish hatchery and returned to housekeeper and later retired. Dolores was a person who loved crafting/coloring, church, and family gatherings. Friends and family will remember her for her strength, patience and sassiness.

She was a daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
