Francisco Grimaldo Estañol passed away on March 2nd, 2025 in Oxnard, CA due to a sudden medical condition. Francisco was born on July 11th, 1942 in Mexico City, Mexico to Fernando Estañol Alvarado and Rafaela Grimaldo Hernández. He was the second of six brothers. He is predeceased by his wife, Guadalupe Godinez Estañol whom he married on May 8th, 1965 in Tijuana, Mexico, two sons, Frank Estañol, Jr. and Jesus Estañol, as well as his brothers Mario Rodriguez, Miguel Estañol, Fernando Estañol, Rafael Estañol, and Ignacio Estañol. Together they had 6 children: a daughter, Letticia (Martin) Estañol of Sacramento, CA, a son, Humberto aka Bobby (Julie) Estañol of Topeka, KS, twin daughters, Rita Estañol of San Diego, CA and Lupita Estañol of Oxnard, CA, as well as the two aforementioned predeceased sons. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren: Martin Jr, Elisabel, Rudy, Caesar, Gabriel, Priscilla, Frankie, Bryanna, Brandon, Bryssa, Miranda, Natalia, Lupita, Daniel III, Francisca, Raul, Victoria, and Marquis Jr, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. One of Francisco's greatest achievements, apart from raising his children, was being granted US Citizenship in 1996. He was grateful as on this path, he knew he would be able to give his children and future generations better lives. Francisco enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and loved ones.
