Freda McIva "Mackie" Lindsey aged 91, passed away on October 5, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and a friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Freda was born on October 30, 1932 in Kentucky and later moved to Ventura County.  She went on to get her Associates Degree at Ventura College and later become a commercial real estate broker. Throughout her career she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. In her free time, Freda enjoyed spending time in her garden where she grew the most beautiful orchids.  But more than anything, Freda was a devoted wife and mother.

Freda is preceded by her loving husband William and eldest son, Rodney. She is survived by her younger son, Brian and brother Ranny.  Her memory will be cherished by all fortunate enough to be blessed by her presence.
