Gloria Margarita Valdez

With deep sorrow and profound love, we announce the passing of Gloria Margarita Valdez, who left us on June 19, 2025, in Ventura, California, at the age of 78. Gloria was born on June 6, 1947, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She was known and cherished for her strength, warm friendship, and her endlessly kind and helpful nature. Gloria had a heart that welcomed everyone—always ready to support those around her and bring people together with love, laughter, and generosity.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Gloria is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Catalina Gonzalez. She is survived by her sons: Rogelio Valdez, Jose De Jesus Valdez and his wife Courtney Valdez, and daughter Marisela Valdez.

Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren: Marcos Elias Michel and his wife Jazmine Rios, Rogelio Michel, Tyson Daniel Valdez, Anthony Palomino, Cassandra Valdez, and Dylan Hoban; and through her great-grandchildren: Damian Salvador Michel and Luciana Annette Michel. Gloria also leaves behind brothers, sisters, and a large extended family who will miss her deeply.

Gloria loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She found joy in music, dancing, and creating beautiful things through arts and crafts. Her generous heart and her memory will live on in every life she touched.

Honor Gloria by spending time with your loved ones, sharing a dance, or creating something beautiful in her memory.

She was deeply loved, and her presence will be forever missed.

Con profundo dolor y gran amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Gloria Margarita Valdez, quien partió el 19 de junio de 2025 en Ventura, California, a la edad de 78 años.

Gloria nació el 6 de junio de 1947 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Fue conocida y querida por su fortaleza, su amistad, y su naturaleza bondadosa y servicial. Tenía un corazón generoso que siempre estaba dispuesto a brindar apoyo y a reunir a las personas con amor, alegría y solidaridad.

Fue una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga muy amada. Gloria fue precedida en muerte por su hija, Martha Catalina González. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Rogelio Valdez, José de Jesús Valdez y su esposa Courtney Valdez, y su hija Marisela Valdez.

Su legado continúa a través de sus seis nietos: Marcos Elías Michel y su esposa Jazmine Ríos,Rogelio Michel, Tyson Daniel Valdez, Anthony Palomino, Cassandra Valdez, y Dylan Hoban; y sus bisnietos: Damian Salvador Michel y Luciana Annette Michel. También deja atrás a sus queridos hermanos, hermanas y una extensa familia que la recordará con mucho cariño.

Gloria disfrutaba estar rodeada de su familia y amigos. Le encantaba escuchar música, bailar y hacer manualidades. Su corazón generoso y su memoria vivirá por siempre en todos aquellos que la conocieron.

La familia los invita a honrar la memoria de Gloria pasando tiempo con sus seres queridos, compartiendo un baile o creando algo hermoso en su honor. Fue profundamente amada, y su presencia será extrañada eternamente
