Gregory Francis Nard, age 69, of Santa Paula, CA passed away in the early afternoon on December 26, 2024, surrounded by his family. Greg was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2023 and fought with incredible strength and determination to overcome it. Greg was born on March 25, 1955, in Los Angeles County, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Hilda Nard, brothers, Douglas and Bradley Nard, and former wife Kitty Pine Nard.

He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Connie Nard, his daughters Jennifer (Jake) Hutchison, Jessica (Matt) Schmidt, Sarah Gates, and Kate Nard, two stepchildren Tedra Taylor and Clyde Dollahite, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Shortly after graduating from Quartz Hill High School, Greg began his career with the Los Angeles County Public Works Department. He retired in 2011 as a foreman but would often reminisce about his days as a motor grader operator, the job he truly loved.

He enjoyed golfing, watching sports especially the Dodgers and the Indy 500, reading the newspaper, visiting Estes Park, and relaxing while enjoying his favorite beverage.
