Obituary

Guadalupe Genaro Anaya, lovingly known as "Gino," passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 77. Born in Pachuca, Mexico to Augustin and Angelica Anaya, he later made his home in Ventura, California, where he was known for his warm personality, sense of humor, and deep love for family.

Gino shared 25 beautiful years of marriage with his wife, Lucy Anaya. He was a proud father to Julie, Rhonda, Anthony, Steven, Gene, Gina, Gino, Jennifer, and Donovan, and a devoted bonus father to Tino, Doris, and Cesear. He is also survived by many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought him great joy and pride.

He is further survived by his sister, Angelica, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He worked as a truck driver for over 20 years before retiring, demonstrating dedication and a throughout his career. Gino was a social and outgoing man who made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed visiting the swap meet and was a familiar face at his favorite diner, Danny's, where he would have breakfast several times a week. Known as the life of the party and a true "dad jokester," he brought laughter and light to those around him.
