In Loving Memory of Hector Luna
Our beloved Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin and Friend, left this world peacefully on June 3, 2026, surrounded by family and his children by his side. Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort knowing he is free from pain and suffering and no longe carries the weight of life's challenges.
He is now home and reunited with his mother, Eleanor Robinson, his sister, Elva Luna, brother Efrain Reyes, and many extended family and friends, loving angels welcoming his arrival with open arms. We miss him soooo much, however we take comfort knowing he is now at rest.
During the past year, Hector fought hard to remain here with us. Time and time again, he showed us the strength of his spirit and unwavering desire to hold on to people he loved.
He lived his life with perseverance and met each day with courage and determination, never letting hardship define him. Amid his struggles, he found ways to give the best of himself with his infectious smile and sense of humor.
Hector had a remarkable ability to connect with others. Family, friends, neighbors, and strangers were drawn to his humility and authenticity. Friends became family and strangers became friends. It was not uncommon for a friend to say, "he was like a brother to me". Words echoed about him many times. A testament of what an awesome guy he really was. (The tough guy persona never existed.)
Above all, Hector's life was not measured by material things, but by the love he shared and the family bonds he helped create. He loved his children very much and his grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy and comfort when he needed it the most. He cherished their time spent together, and they will forever treasure memories of their Grandpa Hector and his playful spirit and kind ways.
Hector is survived by his children, Raymond/ Elise, Hector/Marlene, Joshua/Diane, Nicole/Jesus, Sabien, Abraham and Irene/Amado, his beloved grandchildren, his brother Ruben/Darcy, sisters, Elaine, Leticia, Irene, and Patricia/Sammy, Aunt Jennie, Godparents, Ray and Helen Rivera and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and many extended family and friends.
Let us honor his legacy by embracing his values of kindness, forgiveness, togetherness, loyalty, and love.
