Ignacio Roman Jr.
September 17, 1966 – October 7, 2025
Ignacio Roman, 59, of Oxnard, California, passed away on October 7, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1966, in Tijuana, Mexico, to Abigail O'Quinn and the late Ignacio Roman. He was also the stepson of the late Bobby O'Quinn.
Ignacio proudly served in the U.S. Army for nearly three years, attaining the rank of Specialist (SP4). Following his service, he built a lifelong career as a skilled machinist at Symetrics, later Parker-Hannifin, where he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Ignacio enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing video games, and spending time with his beloved dog, Cleo. He was a quiet man with a fiery spirit—quick to laugh, sometimes quick to anger, but always loyal to those he loved. He cherished time spent with his brothers and friends, sharing stories and good times.
He is survived by his mother, Abigail O'Quinn; and his brothers, Javier Roman, Rafael Roman, Michael O'Quinn, and Daniel O'Quinn.
Ignacio will be remembered for his independence, his humor, and his love for family and simple joys. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
