Janeen Herrera, a beacon of kindness, love, and care, passed away on December 28, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and unwavering compassion.  At 59 years old, this amazing mother, daughter, sister, aunt and committed life partner left the world too soon.

Born on October 6, 1964, Janeen exemplified the true essence of love and generosity.  Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, and she touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.  Her capacity for love was boundless, creating a ripple effect of positivity that extended far beyond her immediate circle.

One of Janeen's most remarkable qualities was her radiant smile, an expression that became synonymous with her presence. It was a reflection of her inner joy and the genuine happiness she shared with others. In times of joy or sorrow, Janeen's smile served as a source of comfort and a reminder of the beauty found in simple acts of kindness.

In addition to her loving nature, Janeen embodied a relentless work ethic that inspired those around her.  She had long and illustrious careers at both Amgen and CPI.  Her commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of her life, from personal relationships to professional pursuits. She was not only a source of support for others but also a shining example of dedication and perseverance.

Janeen is survived by her beloved son Joshua Herrera, life partner Jeff Thompson, father Darwin Tolzin, brother Jeff Tolzin (Diana), niece Dr. Marisa Tolzin Buckner (Michael), nephew Jordan Tolzin and grandnephew Cameron Buckner.  Janeen is preceded in death by her Mom Jean Tolzin.
