Jean "Gaga" Pennington was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world and entered into her eternal reward on December 18, 2023, at the age of 85.

She was born in beautiful Trinidad and Tobago on November 12, 1938. It was in Trinidad on the United States Naval Base Chaguaramas in Port of Spain that she met her forever love, John Pennington. They remained happily married for 58 years until Jean's passing.

Jean's passion was her family. She put every waking moment into celebrating her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved to have family gatherings, prepare and serve traditional Trinidadian dishes, and dance. She always had Calypso music playing – and she loved to sing along.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Maurecia, and sisters Penelope and Carol. She is survived by her husband John Pennington, daughter Robin O'Toole (Johnny), son Gordon Pennington (Patricia), and grandchildren Chelsea Pennington, Noah Pennington, Nicolas Pennington, Christiana Pennington, and Oliver O'Toole, Brothers Gordon and Ian Ferriera, and sister Patricia Hicks.

Mom's unwavering love and dedication to her family and community will be forever etched in our hearts. Gaga – while you have left us physically, your spirit will live on every time that your family celebrates together. We will play Calypso and dance, and you will always be in our hearts.
