In Loving Memory of Jesus Cendejas

Jesus Cendejas, a lifelong resident of Oxnard, California, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. A hardworking man with a heart full of generosity, Jesus spent over 30 years as a cable technician before continuing his service to the community as a school bus driver. His work ethic was matched only by his deep devotion to those he loved.

Jesus was a strong-willed soul who embraced life with joy and purpose. Family was always his priority—he was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather. His bond with his compadres and childhood friends was unbreakable, and once you were welcomed into his life, you were a friend for life. His warmth, loyalty, and infectious smile touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Laura Cendejas; his son Rosalio (Leo); daughters Jessi, Kristina, and Ivie Cendejas; and grandchildren Emiamai Estrada and Jesiah Tellez. He also leaves behind his mother Amada Martinez; siblings Ricardo, Alfonso, Gloria, Antonia Cendejas, and Ester (Cendejas) Diaz; and many nieces and nephews. He joins in eternal rest his brothers Rosalio and Louie Cendejas.

To Laura, who shared 37 beautiful years with Jesus: your love story is a testament to enduring devotion. You were blessed to walk beside him, raise a family together, and witness the joy he brought to so many. Though gone too soon, his spirit lives on in every smile, every memory, and every heart he touched.

He was truly one of a kind. Heaven has gained a radiant soul.
