Jesus V. Garcia, 93, passed away at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. He was born on September 24, 1932, in Oxnard.

Jesus was inducted into the Armed Forces on November 13, 1952, and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the 10th Special Forces Group Airborne. Jesus and Genoveva C. Garcia were married on June 2, 1957. He was honorably discharged from the army on January 31, 1961. After leaving the army, Jesus continued to work hard and provide for his family. He loved to spend time with his wife, kids, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Genoveva C. Garcia; his parents, Jesus Garcia and Maria Rosario Valadez; and his brother, Carlos Garcia.

He is survived by his brother George Garcia; his sister, Elvira Garcia; his six children, Christina Garcia, Gloria Mendez, Alicia Flores (Gilbert, deceased), Jesus Garcia (Regina), Leticia Garcia and Ricardo Garcia (Gina); 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
