Jose Francisco
Garcia Jr.
Jul 21, 1979 — Feb 23, 2026
José Francisco García Jr., 46, born July 21, 1979, in San Diego, California, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Port Hueneme, California, where he lived all of his life.
José was a lover of nature and all living things, a true free spirit with an instinctive connection to people. He carried a generous and loving heart and always wanted the best for others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter who you were, often lifting others up and encouraging them to feel hopeful and fulfilled.
An artist at heart, José enjoyed drawing, and even his handwriting was remarkably elegant, like art in its own right.
He was raised working alongside his father and brother in the family business. Over the years, sharing the word of God became a central part of José's life. As a devoted single missionary, he poured his heart into spreading kindness, faith, and hope, striving to bring encouragement and love to everyone he met. His compassion knew no boundaries.
Music also held a special place in his heart. José especially enjoyed singing with his nephew Abraham, sharing joyful moments together through music. The songs of Ramón Ayala and Oldies but Goodies deeply touched his heart and were among the melodies he loved most.
José had a playful spirit that brought laughter wherever he went. He loved making funny voices and playful sounds, especially when spending time with his nieces and nephews. He delighted in making them laugh, and the children in his life will always remember the joy he brought them.
Above all, José loved his family deeply. He loved his children more than words can express, always carrying them in his heart and wishing the very best for their lives.
Those who knew José will remember his joyful humor, his playful silliness that could brighten any moment, and the unforgettable hugs he gave so freely—hugs that came straight from the
José is survived by his parents, Sandra and Jose Garcia; his brother, Abraham Garcia; his sisters, Leslie Fenton and Wendy Garcia; his three children, Priscilla Garcia, Cecilia Garcia, and Joshua Garcia; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved dog, Clyde.
