Kenneth Ray Lee, 76, affectionately known as "Kennaray" was born on August 2, 1949, in Oxnard, California. He entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2026, surrounded by family. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Ventura County. He was born to William R. Lee "Son" and Laciel Lee.
Kenneth accepted the Lord at an early age, and was baptized at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Huelan Washington.
Kenneth attended local elementary schools, Fremont Jr. High and participated in the first graduating class of Channel Islands High School in 1968. Shortly after high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served proudly and honorably for nine years, which included two tours of duty, traveling within the United States and abroad. Kenneth also obtained his AA Degree from Oxnard College in Business Administration. Kenneth became employed at the Port Hueneme CBC Base as a Computer Analyst until his retirementafter a more than 40-year career. Kenneth was employed as a Campus Supervisor at Camarillo High School. He also enjoyed time with the elderly and disabled as a driver for GoAccess.
Kenneth was married to his forever love, Mildred Jean Lee for over 38 years, from that union was born their son, Jonathan Jacob Lee, and bonus son Joseph S. Johnson., Sr. He was the proud father of two sons, Anthony Lee and Tyrrance "Terry"Lee, from his previous marriage to Ada Allen.
Kenneth's favorite past times included attending car shows and working on his 1964 Chevrolet pick-up truck, going to car shows and spending time with family and friends. On Saturdays, he would often turn the family home into a pancake house.
Kenneth will be terribly missed by his wife, Mildred Jean Lee; sons, Anthony Lee (Cookie), Tyrrance Lee, Jonathan Jacob Lee and Joseph S. Johnson, Sr.; brothers: Esther Lee (Maryann) of Tyler, TX; Gregory Lee (Linda) of San Jose, CA; sisters: Sharon Johnson (Charles) of Tucson, AZ; Pamela Lee of San Jose, CA;and Margaret Samuel of Tucson, AZ; and Goddaughter, Kharemah Wells (Carlos) of Tucson, Az; ten grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Lee and Laciel Lee; his brother, Willie A.Lee and sister, Shirley Alexander
