Larry Haynes was called home to our Lord and Savior on April 25, 2026. He was born July 21, 1946, in the city of Coronado, California. He was the third of nine children born to the late Odis Haynes Sr. and Lydia Haynes.

Larry attended the local schools: Haydock Middle School and was a1964 alumni of Oxnard High School. Larry attended Barber College in Los Angles, California in his Junior year of high school and received his license from The State of California State Board of Barber School. Soon after, Larry was one of the youngest Entrepreneurs in Oxnard to open his own business which was located on Wooley Road and J Street.

He found and married his soul mate June, the love of his life. They got married in San Diego California at Mission Beach on July 22, 2006, and settled down in Oxnard, California for 18 years.

Larry enjoyed camping, tennis, football, basketball and track. He was an original member of the Monday night football club and was well-known as a great dresser.

Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents Odis Haynes Sr. and Lydia Haynes, four sisters: Odie Dean Wells, Betty S. Haynes, Esther Hayes and Vicki Ray Calloway, two brothers: Otis Haynes Jr. and Paul E. Haynes.
