With deep sorrow, yet immense love in our hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, and friend, Manuel "Bigotes" Naranjo Facundo, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 73. Manuel was born in his grandparents' home in Pareo, Michoacán, Mexico, and spent most of his life in Oxnard, California. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who worked as a farm machine operator for over 30 years. He loved his work and truly enjoyed being outdoors. He was always punctual in everything he did, reflecting his strong sense of responsibility and character. He was a peaceful, kind, and generous man who was always willing to help others. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved telling jokes; his laughter and joy could light up any room. He was a true family man, someone everyone turned to for advice and support. He loved music, especially Vicente Fernández, and enjoyed watching Cantinflas. He had a deep love for classic cars. His favorite foods were freshly boiled beans with nopales and cheese, as well as tacos. One of his favorite hobbies was growing chilies in his garden, where he found peace working each day. He loved drinking coffee in the mornings with his wife, listening to the rain, and spending time surrounded by his family. His favorite place was Mugu Rock, where he enjoyed overlooking the ocean, although he was ironically afraid to go into the water. Manuel had a big heart. Every winter, he would bring blankets to people experiencing homelessness and personally cover them so they would not be cold. He never held grudges or became angry; he always taught his family not to live with resentment. One of his sayings was, "A friend is worth more than money in your pocket," and with his characteristic humor he would also say, "Wow, said the dog." He was a man of faith, a devoted Catholic who sang and danced for the Virgin Mary and always prayed for his beloved family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Guadalupe Naranjo Carrera; his children, Félix, Becky, Jessica, and Yatziri Naranjo; his grandchildren, Steven and Audrey Felix; and his beloved son-in-law, Rubén Felix. He is also survived by his siblings: María Elena, María Guadalupe, María del Rosario, María de los Ángeles, Gracia, Ana María, Refugio, and María Luisa Naranjo Facundo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Félix Naranjo Jiménez and Petra Facundo Lucatero, as well as his brother, Juan Naranjo. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Milo and La Chilindrina, who were an important part of his home. Manuel will be remembered as a man full of love, humility, and joy — a wonderful father, a loyal friend, and an unforgettable human being.

Con profundo dolor, pero con inmenso amor en nuestros corazones, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido padre, esposo, abuelo y amigo, Manuel "Bigotes" Naranjo Facundo, quien partió de este mundo el día 12 de abril del 2026 a la edad de 73 años. Manuel nació en la casa de sus abuelos en Pareo, Michoacán, México, y vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Oxnard, California. Fue un hombre trabajador y dedicado, desempeñándose como operador de maquinaria agrícola por más de 30 años. Amaba su trabajo y disfrutaba profundamente estar al aire libre. Siempre fue puntual en todo lo que hacía, reflejo de su responsabilidad y carácter. Era un hombre de paz, bondadoso y generoso, que siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Tenía un gran sentido del humor y le encantaba contar chistes; su risa y alegría iluminaban cualquier lugar. Fue un verdadero hombre de familia, a quien todos acudían en busca de consejo y apoyo. Disfrutaba de la música, especialmente de Vicente Fernández, y le gustaba ver las películas de Cantinflas. Tenía un gran amor por los carros clásicos. Su comida favorita eran los frijoles recién hervidos con nopales y queso, así como los tacos. Uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos era cultivar chiles en su jardín, donde encontraba paz trabajando diariamente. Le encantaba tomar café por las mañanas con su esposa, escuchar la lluvia y pasar tiempo rodeado de su familia. Su lugar favorito era Mugu Rock, desde donde contemplaba el océano, aunque curiosamente no le gustaba meterse al mar. Manuel tenía un corazón enorme. Cada invierno, llevaba cobijas a personas sin hogar y personalmente se aseguraba de cubrirlos para que no pasaran frío. Nunca guardaba rencor ni se enojaba; siempre enseñó a su familia a no vivir con resentimiento. Su frase era: "Más vale tener un amigo que un peso en la bolsa", y con su característico humor también decía: "Wow, dijo el perro". Fue un hombre de fe, católico devoto, que cantaba y bailaba para la Virgen María y siempre oraba por su querida familia y amigos. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Guadalupe Naranjo Carrera; sus hijos, Félix, Becky, Jessica y Yatziri Naranjo; sus nietos, Steven y Audrey Felix; y su querido yerno, Rubén Felix. También deja en vida a sus hermanas y hermanos: María Elena, María Guadalupe, María del Rosario, María de los Ángeles, Gracia, Ana María, Refugio y María Luisa Naranjo Facundo. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Félix Naranjo Jiménez y Petra Facundo Lucatero, así como por su hermano Juan Naranjo. También deja a sus queridos compañeros de vida, sus mascotas Milo y La Chilindrina, quienes fueron parte importante de su hogar. Manuel será recordado como un hombre ejemplar, lleno de amor, humildad y alegría. Un padre maravilloso, un
amigo leal y un ser humano inolvidable.
