Manuel Rodriguez Jr.
November 13, 1963 - April 15, 2024
It is with a broken heart and great sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel "Menito"Rodriguez Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, family member and true friend to all who knew him.
Big Perro, Babe, Mi Amor, Primo, Carnal, Dad & Grandpa as we proudly knew him passed away unexpectedly April 15, 2024 at the young age of 60 years old! He was born and raised in Santa Paula, California on November 13, 1963 to Manuel "Reyitos" Rodriguez and Olivia Ramirez.
Manuel is survived by his beautiful, loving wife, Stephanie, daughter Micaela, son Vicente, step son Justyn Garman, grandchildren Joshua Drake, Ayla Rodriguez, Kaiden Garman and Julez Drake as well as many beloved family members and friends. He is proceeded in death by his father, Manuel Rodriguez, mother, Olivia Ramirez and brother Ruben Barrios.
Aside from his love for the gym, softball & and any baseball game that was on tv or the MLB app you could always count on him for that annual holiday, birthday or anniversary text message. Manuel was such a hard worker who worked 60+ hours a week so that none of us went without. He took pride in his work in fact he took pride in anything he did and he brought joy to everyone he crossed paths with! No matter how many hours he worked he always made sure that his wife and family were his priority. He loved to play baseball with his grandson Joshua any time he had the chance, tired or not.
Manuels love he had for his wife was beyond measure and the love he had for his children, grandchildren near and far and his family had no boundaries! He would do anything for them! He was just a gentle giant with a giving heart who had a nickname for everyone!
Manuel's legacy, love, laughter and his crazy antics will live in us forever. He made a lasting impression on each and every person he ever met!
Our hearts are shattered but we will continue to make him proud and carry his legacy on. He will be forever missed! We love you so much #13
