Maria Carmen "Nana" Camacho, was a woman dedicated to her family. Her life
journey began on July 4, 1927 in Tepehuaje, Jalisco, Mexico to Baudelia Zepeda
and Calletano Uribe. Nana Carmen passed away peacefully surrounded by her
loved ones on Sunday April 7, 2024 at the age 96 in Oxnard, Ca.

She married Nicolas Camacho with whom she had 8 children. They moved the
family to Estacion Delta, Baja California, Mexico so that Papa Nico could work as
a bracero. During this time, she ran a small restaurant serving tacos, pozole,
menudo and "licuados". In 1971 the family became residents of Oxnard, Ca.
They worked as campesinos.

Nana Carmen had a heart of gold, no one was a stranger. She made sure no one
left hungry by making frijoles and her delicious handmade tortillas. Her favorite
hobby was to knit beanies, scarves, shawls and her famous crochet chickens.
She took pride in her handmade crafts and loved to give them to her loved ones.
Her religious belief and faith was evident by her devoted daily prayer of the
rosary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Baudelia and Calletano, her husband
Nicolas, and her daughters Gardenia Camacho and Maria Guadalupe Gudiño.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Felix Elias, Alicia Rodriguez, Maria Irma
Valladolid, Sandra Murillo and her sons, Fidencio Camacho and Alvaro
Camacho, including 29 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 35 great-great
grandchildren and several God-children.

Nana's warm embrace, sense of humor and contagious laughter will be deeply
missed. We love you, Nana.
