Maria "Mary" Dondiego Anguiano

July 6, 1991 – July 2, 2025

With shattered hearts, we share the unexpected loss of our beloved Maria "Mary" Dondiego Anguiano. Mary tragically lost her life in a car accident on July 2, 2025. She was 33 years old.

Mary was born on July 6, 1991, in San Juan Nuevo, Michoacán, and made her home in Oxnard, California since the tender age of 1. Mary was a light in this world. To know Mary was to know someone who gave of herself with open hands and a generous heart. She was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and treasured sister. She is survived by her husband, Alex Gonzalez; her children, Daniel Andres Duarte Dondiego and Hyacinth Alejandra Gonzalez Dondiego; her parents, Ma. Concepcion and Andres Dondiego; and her sisters, Delia and Mireya Dondiego.

Mary's greatest pride and joy were her children. Mary loved being a mom. She was deeply involved in her children's school life and education, always present and encouraging. She loved taking her children on vacations or to amusement parks – places full of laughter, adventure, and pure joy – just like her.

Mary was known as the hardest-working person by all who knew her. Mary was a talented baker, a savvy business owner, and compassionate paraeducator. She wore many hats and wore them all with pride and grace, but her proudest work was the impact she made in her community. She organized fundraisers through raffles and food sales for people facing hardships. She was fierce advocate for the immigrant community, using her voice to uplift others, help families access resources and supported local activism. She was always striving to better herself for the sake of her family and community.

She was known not only for her hard work, but for the joy she brought wherever she went. She was the life of every celebration. She loved to cook, dance, sing, and gather people. Her vibrant spirit rooted in her family and cultural traditions. She was someone who always made time for those around her. She saw the good in people and believed in second chances, in celebrating others' wins, and in offering help without being asked.

Mary's absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.

Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la inesperada pérdida de nuestra querida María "Mary" Dondiego Anguiano. Mary perdió la vida trágicamente en un accidente automovilístico el 2 de julio de 2025. Tenía 33 años.

Mary nació el 6 de julio de 1991 en San Juan Nuevo, Michoacán, y vivió en Oxnard, California, desde la tierna edad de un año. Mary fue una luz en este mundo. Fue una esposa amada, una madre devota, una hija querida y una hermana preciada. Le sobreviven su esposo, Alex González; sus hijos, Daniel Andrés Duarte Dondiego y Hyacinth Alejandra González Dondiego; sus padres, Ma. Concepción y Andrés Dondiego; y sus hermanas, Delia y Mireya Dondiego.

El mayor orgullo y alegría de Mary eran sus hijos. A Mary le encantaba ser madre. Estaba muy involucrada en la vida escolar de sus hijos, siempre presente y alentándolos. Le encantaba llevar a sus hijos de vacaciones o a parques de diversiones, lugares llenos de risas, aventura y pura alegría, igual que ella.

Todos quienes conocían a Mary la conocían como una persona luchadora y trabajadora. Mary desempeñaba diferentes papeles con orgullo, pero su labor más orgullosa era el impacto que generaba en su comunidad. Organizaba recaudaciones de fondos a traves de rifas y venta de alimentos para ayudar a los mas necesitados. Tambien fue defensora de la comunidad inmigrante. Siempre se esforzaba por superarse por el bien de su familia y su comunidad.

Mary llevaba alegria a donde quiera que iba. Era el alma de cada celebración. Le encantaba cocinar, bailar, cantar y reunir gente. Su espíritu vibrante estaba arraigado en su familia y sus tradiciones culturales. Siempre dedicaba tiempo a quienes la rodeaban. Veía lo bueno en las personas y creía en las segundas oportunidades, en celebrar los triunfos de los demás y en ofrecer ayuda sin que nadie la pidiera.

La ausencia de María deja un profundo vacío en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron, pero su espíritu, su generosidad y su amor seguirán vivos en todas las vidas que tocó.
