It is with great Sorrow that our Beloved Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, has passed away after a brief illness. Melinda Acosta Urrutia (Molly) left us to be with our Lord on December 13, 2024.

Molly was born to Esiquio and Clotilde Acosta in Redondo Beach, California, on August 22, 1942. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ramon Maya (Monchi) Urrutia and her five children, Sons; Ramon Jr. (Guero) wife Patti, Juan Esiquio (Zeke) wife Penny, Mario (wife Letty), her two daughters; Melinda (Muneca) Castaneda, Sabrina (husband Jose). She adored, and has left fifteen grandchildren; Sherrie, John, Jacob, Brandon, Zeke Jr., Jordan, Monique, Alyssa, Selenne, Mario Jr., Cristian, Sienna, Kianna, Jeffrey Jr., Josiah and her four great-grandchildren; Jayden, Ariel, Laurent, and Aubree. She is preceded in death by her sons, Frankie, and most recently, her son Mark. She is also survived by her four sisters, three brothers and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Our mother Molly loved dancing and listening to "Oldies but Goodies". She also loved camping in Yosemite with her family. Mom loved cooking and we will miss her famous potato salad and delicious Menudo, tortillas, and Chile con carne.
