Randy Popelka affectionately known as "Grandpa Randy" was born on August 8, 1952 in Glendale, CA. Passed away on November 27, 2024 in Santa Paula, CA. A man of unwavering integrity and dedication in a fulfilling career as a Fire Alarm Inspector for 37 years. His passion was being a Ham Operator Staring at the age of 13. Through Ham Radio Randy (KA6QDF) and others, participated in networks and CERT to aid responders of natural disasters in Ventura County. He enjoyed rock climbing. He was a devout Christian. His kindness knew no bounds, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Randy's greatest source of pride was his family, and he cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife of 44 years, Tina Popelka and their four children Deanna Popelka (Husband Rusty Solis), Son Edmund Popelka, Daughter Frances Popelka, (Nick Giotta), Daughter Gloria Farmer (Husband Dan Farmer), Sister Lori Reed, Niece Christina Sievert, Mother-in-Law Leona Mote, Brother-in-law Dennis Mote. His four grandchildren Cooper, Raymon, Rose and Violet.
