In Loving Memory of Raul "Jappy" Moreno
Raul "Jappy" Moreno, age 49, of Santa Paula, California, passed away on July 27,2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love among his family and friends.
Raul will be remembered for the love he shared with those around him, the moments of laughter he brought into their lives, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. Anyone who knew Raul knew that he was a free spirit, and he lived his life on his own terms. He had a deep love for music, a creative spirit as a tattoo artist, and the ability to turn his hand to almost anything as a true jack of all trades. His talents, personality, and presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved family and friends, who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio Moreno and Yolanda Martinez Moreno and several beloved family members. He is survived by his children, David (Kaylee) and Chris Moreno of Tennessee and Caspian Lockwood. He is also survived by his siblings, Lupe Moreno Cardenas, Emilio (Ruby) Moreno, Jr. and Geno (Paula) Moreno and Yasmina Gonzalez. He also has one granddaughter, Nova, with another granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
During this difficult time, they take comfort in the memories they shared and the love that will always remain.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude to everyone that donated, participated in the fundraisers, or simply said a kind word to us. It all means so much to us during this most difficult time. We are sincerely and forever grateful to each and every one of you.
You left before we were ready,
before our hearts could understand.
But love does not leave with you –
it stays within us, hand in hand.
We will remember your laughter, your smile,
your stories, your light
and hold close every precious moment
that made your presence bright.
Though we cannot change the sorrow,
or the pain you carried inside,
we can remember you with compassion
and keep your memory alive.
Rest Peacefully now, dear one.
May you finally know the peace that your heart was searching for,
You will be loved forever,
And forgotten never.
