On behalf of the Alvarez family, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert Alaniz Alvarez Jr. — a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend whose warm smile and kind heart touched everyone around him. Robert was born on April 27, 1966, and passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Robert had a gift for filling any room with laughter — singing off-key, spinning tall tales, and cracking jokes until everyone around him couldn't help but smile. His playful, mischievous spirit and stubborn charm were impossible not to love. A devoted Raiders and Dodgers fan, he enjoyed visits to Chumash Casino with family, going for car rides, and most of all, spending time with the people he loved.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Robert and Rosie Alvarez; his siblings, GinaMarie and Patrick Alvarez; his children, Justin, Robert III, Jacob, and Andrew Alvarez; his daughters-in-law, Bertha and Brianna Alvarez; his two beautiful granddaughters, Robyn and Aurora Alvarez; his niece and nephew Talia and Gerry Arroyo — all of whom he loved deeply.
