  Ruth E. Moore was the most beautiful woman in the world. Her birthday was a 3-day celebration, August 3-5, as she deserved. She was born in 1934 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, to Aurthur and Victoria Hubbard. She was the youngest of seven children Her mother Victoria died when she was between 4 and 5 years old. After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Ruth took her last breath and joined her husband of over 65 years on May 5, 2024.  

  Ruth graduated high school with honors in Goldsboro, NC. Her sister Mazie helped pick cotton in the rural area to help her go to college. She was the freshman Princess at Fayetteville State University where she caught the eye of her husband-to-be. David and Ruth married shortly after. They repeated their vows again at 25 years and 50 year anniversaries.  

  Together they lived in many places under the orders of the US Navy. Finally settling in Oxnard, CA. Ruth liked to bake, famous for her biscuits, cornbread, and sweet potato pie. She made her home a place of refuge for countless individuals. She made many plates and fed many souls. She introduced people to Jesus. She was a true worshiper. Ruth loved to play Scrabble, watch game shows, take walks around the neighborhood, sing and dance. She was a poet.  

  Ruth was a faithful member of Tried Stone COGIC for many years. She then was a loyal member at Church for the Nations. She not only went to church, but often took others, especially the mothers of the church that she would pick up and give a ride.  

  Ruth was selfless, regularly making sacrifices to help others. She took joy in serving other people. She worked for the Ocean View School District for 30 years. She could be seen jumping rope or playing hopscotch with the students on the playground.  

  She and David had nine children: David, Jr. and wife, Diane of Santa Barbara, CA; Bobbie Hall of Henderson, NV; Dathan Moore of Henderson, NV; Beverly Moore of Santa Paula; Dwain Moore of Locust Grove, GA; Bronda Moore of Port Hueneme, CA; Don Moore and wife Florence of Pittsboro, NC; Daryll Moore of Sacramento, CA; Trina Moore-Southall and husband, Patrick of Simi Valley, CA. Ruth leaves 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
