It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Carolyn Virto announce her passing on Saturday November 9th, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born to Manuel and Trinidad and was a proud resident of Fillmore CA. Her life was simple in that she did not require much, a simple phone call to say I love you was sufficient for her. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and overfeeding her family members with homemade flour tortillas, you could always count on a hot one off the comal. Also enjoyed talking on the phone to all those available and caring for her birds as well as her companion dog coco.
Carol's memory will live on through her husband Ricardo of 55 years; daughters Margaret, Sandra, Elizabeth; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and counting, siblings; Julia, Paula, Irene, Manuel, Froilan (Toques) Jaime, many nieces and nephews as well as all the extras who she loved like her own.
Carol is predeceased by her parents Manuel and Trinidad, siblings Ruben, Robert, Hilda, Benjamin, Ana, son Richard Jr, great grandchildren Keilani and Adley.
