Silvia Negrete Felix, 71, of Fillmore, CA. passed away on November 21, 2024, at her home.  Silvia was born on August 28, 1953, in Jacona, Michoacan, to Maria Del Refugio Contreras and Francisco Negrete.  Silvia and her family immigrated to Fillmore, CA, where they established a new life, and they made their home.

Silvia was a devoted and compassionate caregiver.  As a CNA, she touched many lives with her exceptional care and empathy, always going above and beyond for those in need. Known for her generosity, Silvia would often sacrifice her own comfort to help others and was known for sharing meals, recipes, and talents.  Silvis was also a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for nearly 50 years serving in different capacities and organizations. Her selflessness and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her,.

She was predeceased by her husband Juan Marcos Felix and her siblings Jose Negeret and Enrique Negrete.  She is survived by her five children: Suzy Felix, Brenda Felix, Markie Felix, Celeste Felix and Ruben Felix.  Sisters, Angelina Garibay, Edelmira Vaca, Roselia Granados, Estela Viveros, & Monica Rodriguez as well as her 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
