On December 8, 2024, God called our son to heaven, his eternal resting place at the young age of 38 years old.  Steven Ralph Pacheco was born on July 22, 1986 in Santa Paula, CA. Steven was a son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, friend, and a proud father.

Steven was raised Catholic and attended Saint Sebastian Catholic School in Santa Paula where he also celebrated his first communion and sacred holy confirmation.    Steven later attended and graduated from Santa Paula Union High School in 2004.   Steven was active in basketball and was a devoted fan of the UCLA, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Cowboys.

In 2005, Steven welcomed his beautiful daughter Samantha Rose Pacheco. Steven took the role of a father with pride as he cared for her lovingly. He loved being with his family and loved being the older brother to his three siblings. Steven will always be remembered by his calm demeanor, wit, and smile.

On December 15, 2008, Steven fell ill and was bedridden for the last 16 years of his life. He was hospitalized under the constant care of the great and compassionate staff of Encino Hospital Medical Center.

Steven is survived by his daughter Samantha Rose, parents Ralph and Natalia Pacheco, sister Sofia, brothers Scott (Vanessa), Enrique, nieces Salia and Soliana, paternal grandmother Magdalena Pacheco and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The Pacheco family is forever grateful for the continuous prayers, love and support everyone near and far have shared. We could not have remained strong and hopeful without each and every one of you. We would also like to thank the staff of Encino Hospital Medical Center for their tireless efforts caring for our boy for so many countless hours, days and years.
