Terry John Castor ("TC"), 66, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Ventura, California—the
place he was born, raised, and proudly called home his entire life.

Terry graduated from Ventura High School in 1977 and later from San Diego State University.
He spent his professional career with the County of Ventura, Child Support Division, from which
he retired, but his life was always centered on people rather than work.

TC was a devoted father to Andria Castor and Thomas Meagher, and a loving presence in the
life of Thomas's girlfriend, Mairin. He was a proud grandfather to Kylie, Curtis, Nova, and
Bonnie, who brought him immense joy. Terry is also survived by his former wife, Marlis W.
Castor, with whom he shared a lasting friendship. He was a deeply loved brother to Ray
Quintanilla, Dino Quintanilla, Gilbert Quintanilla (Roberta), Tommy Flores, Joseph Flores (Veda),
Ruth Flores, Dianne Castor, Michael Castor, and Kimberly Kleimann. He was also a cherished
uncle, nephew, cousin, and godfather to Sophia Ramos and Kaylee Reidmiller, roles he carried
with pride and affection.

Known throughout the community as "Coach," Terry spent many years coaching girls' youth
sports, including softball and basketball. He led teams to championships, mentored countless
young athletes, and left a lasting impact on families across Ventura—not just through wins, but
through the confidence and character he helped build.

Terry's life was enriched by both family and the close friendships he chose along the way. The
Banales, Garcia, Ramos, and Ruiz families held a special place in his heart, sharing years of
laughter, music, gatherings, and memories that became an essential part of his life. Their
friendship, loyalty, and presence were deeply meaningful to TC and remain woven into his story.

Known for his easy laugh and welcoming presence, Terry was a lifelong fan of music and
sports—always up for a concert, a game, live music, or a local event. A devoted supporter of the
Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers, he especially loved the music of Ozomatli and Los Lobos. He
also cherished time spent visiting family in Santa Paula, enjoying birthdays, holidays, and
gatherings that meant so much to him. To know Terry was to know good company, good
conversation, and a cold beer shared among friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, David Castor, and his passing comes just weeks after
the loss of his mother, Raquel Flores. There is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with them.
His absence leaves a profound space in the lives of all who loved him, but his spirit lives on in
the stories, laughter, and connections he created.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Steckel Park in
Santa Paula, California. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate TC the way he
would have wanted—with music, laughter, and maybe a beer.
