Vicente Anastasio Castillo was born on January 22, 1932, and peacefully passed away, at home with his children by his side, on April 22,2024. Vicente, a lifelong resident of Ventura County, lived a full and blessed life until the Lord called him home at the age of 92. Vicente worked hard for his family, and he retired after 40 years from Pacific Pest Control as a "Boom Driver."

Vicente was born to Anastasio and Amalia Castillo, and he had 4 siblings, Rosalia Santos, Panchito Castillo, Felipe Castillo and Ignacio Castillo, all of whom are deceased.

He is also predeceased by his daughter Maria Elena Castillo. Vicente is survived by his children, Vicente Castillo Jr., Tina Ramos, Amalia Perez and his daughter Frances Perez. Vicente had 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom, he loved deeply.

Vicente cherished his family and loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He would, often, make little pit stops to their homes to drop off fresh eggs, produce or juices. He would also save cans and bottles for his grandkids who loved to recycle them. Vicente, a gentle giant, also rescued stray kittens and puppies and would rehome them with friends and family. His grandkids really enjoyed that! Vicente loved to watch boxing, listening to his Mexican music and eating Crispy Kreme donuts and pan dulce. When he retired, you could often find Vicente hanging out with friends in his patio, or front yard, or just relaxing and watching television. Vicente always had friends stopping by to hang out, and it was a rare occurrence, when he did not have company over at his house.

Even though, our hearts are broken here on earth, we know that he is at peace and reunited with the Lord,
